Frozen Sea Within

I think that the quote ‘A book should be an ice-axe to break the frozen sea within us’ by Franz Kafka is trying to say that we should use books as a tool to help learn about the world around us and teach us new things. The book Number The Star help me learn about the life people had during the WWII. It also showed the hard life of the Jewish people. They were relocated and sent to camps because one person decided they were bad.

Book also let our imaginations run free.
There are many fiction books in this small world. These type of book are the best key to your imagination. I just love this type of book. There are many that unlock my frozen sea. One of these is Hatchet because i love camping and surviving in the wild and I learn many thing from this book.

In the end there are many books like Hatchet that break the frozen sea within me and they are all good books.

When I get a book I just want to rip it open and read each page like a hungry mouse trying to get cheese. My special item is The Big Book of Knowledge. This is where most of my facts came from. I think this book represents me because it has many facts in it just like I have facts in my head. I feel that that the more I know about specific things the better it will help me in the future and in life. I received this book from my mom and it helped me understand many things in science. Where there is war there is death, grief, famine, sorrow, and suffering. Is that what we want? My username explains what it is we should be doing. It was made famous by John Lennon. It is 'Give Peace A Chance'. The leaders of the world need to follow this quote and do their best to stop war. In order to do this they need to solve their problems by discussing them and not killing other. When we unite as a world we are giving peace a chance.
