Water Crisis

Water the ultimate resource. If you think there are unlimited water sources you have made a big mistake. Although 70% of earth is water, most of it is the ocean and only a small part is freshwater. But if there is so little what can we do to save it? That a very simple question. You can start by doing things at home like turning the tap off after use or when you bush your teeth, stop taking 30 minute baths and start collecting rain water for use. You can convince your neighbors to join you and help save water too. Get them to tell their relatives and hopefully they will also pass the message on to others. We need to start a worldwide movement to conserve the fresh water that we need.

In my research I found out people love to care for their gardens especially moms. My mom loves her garden but people use too much water in gardening. People just want to water the plant and water again and again. This can cause overwatering and kill the plants. The time of day also can effect how much water is actually being used by the plant. During the daylight hours or when it is really hot weather the water will evaporate too quickly and the plant does not get the water effectively. People should water in the evening to prevent too much evaporation. Also, when you water try not to use water from the tap instead try use rain water. If you have a house you could set up a rain collector to allow the rain to be stored and used later.

People around the globe should try to cut water use as much as they can. If we continue to save water there will be water for everyone. The poor, the rich and generations to come will have access to plenty of fresh water. Find new ways to save water and you will see that one person can make a big difference.

Learn Something New

When I did the interview, I learned more about my whole family but the person I learned most about was my mother. I learned about her life when she was a teen and about the hard time of leaving home. I learned that she was just like me and this made making the interview fun. However I regret rushing through the slides and I wish will do better on the next project.

Heven Holiday

This spring break I went to Perhentian Island to watch the turtle and surf the ocean wind. Snorkeling was really fun because I got to swim after a sea turtle. It was so hard to keep up with the turtle under water. Our family also had great BBQ's every night and the tropical fruit juice was refreshing. Everything was perfect from the food we ate to the beach we played on. Perhentian was a wonderful island holiday. After the great time at the beach I went back to Bangkok to pray for my ancestors and finally return to school in Kuala Lumpur a day late.

In With Nuture

The F.R.I.M trip was an exiting experience because it was great to be out in nature. The part I found most fun was the canopy walk where we got to see the animals that lived in the forest canopy. There are strange things you would not expect to find in the forest like trees that look like a soldiers uniform (camouflage) , bamboo that is as tall as a building and monkey eating fish. The worst part was sleeping in a tent with a friend who left food out and as a result we were terrorized by ants. We only stayed for one night and had to give our tent to the next group who came to stay at the park. They found out about our ant problem as soon as they entered our tent. Overall, it was a great trip and I would recommend others to go except that they shouldn't open food in their tent.

Sad Sad Ending

What I'm about to tell you is about my dog called White. She was a great dog and had lived with us for more then 4 years. On her 5th year she developed a heart problem. By the end of the year she was blind, force to relied only on her nose and ears and only had us to help her. We tried everything to save her but it was too late. There was only one thing left we needed to do before she died. Wish her a good afterlife. In her sixth year she died. We put her body in the backyard and wished that her spirit would be with us forever.

Dragon, Cow, Bear, Me

I am the soaring dragon. Hunting for new experiences everywhere I go with the sun and wind surfing on my wing. Gaining new experiences is like adding new flames to an old oil lamp lighting it for eternity. Like the flames that give human power over other animal. My rage is not something you would like to joke about. When I am angry I am like a grizzly bear that hasn't eaten anything for 10 days. However you wouldn't have to worry because most of the time I am as calm as a grazing cow. You might not understand me or might never understand because you are not a soaring dragon or a grazing cow and you are definetely not me.

In the year 2036 I will be a 40 year old, young, middle aged, good looking and successful man. I am not sure what I will be successful at but I feel good that whatever I do I will do well and be good at it. At this time in my life there are many jobs that I think will be interesting. Whatever I do I think it will involve animals because I just love these little (and big) creatures.
I might become a farmer because I get to take care of and raise animals such as chickens, cows, sheep, dogs, horses and pigs. I will also get to plant crop all over the place. I can plant many kind of vegetable like corn, hay, carrot, turnip, potato, pineapple etc. who know I might even get to sell my products world wide. I will amaze the world with my meat and vegetable.
Another job I might like would be working with elephants as their tamer. People have been working with elephants for a long time. I would like to do the same. Playing and taking care of them is a wonderful thing to do. I would like to look at what they do in their daily life and understand them better. I think working with elephants is wonderful.

The last thing I have in mine is to become an animal expert. To studies many animal and come up face to face with them. That is my greatest dream. I will be even closer to the wild in this type of job. Maybe I will be working with animal planet! Who know I might be eaten by a lion.

Being a farmer, an elephant’s tamer and an animal expert. All three path lead to the same thing and that thing is the path of the wild.
